2nd pick: #8 (Cadet Connolly) (7-2) - On the sidelines since Sept. 15, he finished a pace-setting 2nd that day in the rich Summer Stakes (G1) at Woodbine at odds of 109-1. Very sharp in all three attempts on the turf, he's training steadily and is a major threat if ready.
3rd pick: #1 (Sky Mischief) (12-1) - Speedy colt moves to the grass and is stretching out in distance in his first facing winners. This $240,000 purchase broke his maiden here sprinting on the dirt April 1, and most by sire, 'Into Mischief,' handle the turf. Longshot has the rail, early speed, and is dangerous at a big price.
4th pick: #3 (Assiduously) (4-1) - Lightly raced colt from the barn of Chad Brown has been on the sidelines since breaking his maiden here going a mile Dec. 28. Brown has gone 15-5-5-2 at this meet, and this colt has plenty of possible potential.
