2nd pick: #3 (Carolina Cruisin') (5-2) - Freshened up since Nov. 9, she rallied to finish a close-up third of 12 that afternoon at Churchill Downs racing for a $15K tag. Solid effort came with blinkers added and was her first ever on real dirt. Working well and a win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Mourning Hope) (7-2) - Filly rallied to finish third here at this tag going 7 furlongs on Jan. 6. Race was run in slow time, but she is improving and would love a fast/and or contested pace to unfold.
5th pick: #4 (Holy Maria's Storm) (15-1) - She hasn't shown much in either start, but both came facing tougher and in her local debut on Dec. 15 when she was eliminated at the break. Grey filly could grab a share at a big price.
