Top pick: #4 (ESTUARY) (5-2) - She's one of two entered by trainer Joan Scott and the pair race uncoupled. Filly had a rough and wide trip when debuting at Keeneland Oct. 16 and did well to finish 3rd of 11, beaten 1 1/2 lengths. She's working nicely for her return and gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #2 (Abou) (7-2) - The second of the Scott fillies, daughter of "Distorted Humor" cost $155K last May and has some very sharp works on her resume. She looks well-prepared for her first public appearance.
3rd pick: #8 (Broadway Peyton) (12-1) - Longshot runs third off a three month break and will be going turf-to-dirt and shortening up in distance. Filly has some early speed and could factor at a big price.
4th pick: #6 (Rebecca Rusch) (15-1) - Minnesota-bred debuted in her home state at Canterbury in early Sept. and rallied to finish a distant third in what had the look of nothing more than an educational effort. Stretch threat.
