Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (SUPER TWENTY FIVE) (5-2) - This filly drops in class after tiring late when facing tougher here April 3. Speed/stalker had been competitive in four straight prior to that and is racing at today's $8,000 claiming price for the first time. I give her a slight edge.
2nd pick: #9 (Rattlesnakerose) (7-2) - This very competitive, lightly raced 5yo mare tired after being involved in a pace-duel at this level March 1. She had won two in a row facing weaker right before that, and she's from the barn of leading trainer Gerald Bennett. She's dangerous as her outside post will give rider Dan Centeno some early options.
3rd pick: #3 (Alluring Approval) (8-1) - Old-timer has been competitive in four straight facing weaker. Her stalking style fits well in this field, and she may grab a share at a big price.
4th pick: #2 (Li B Quick) (9-2) - Another moving up in class, she was an easy winner here for a $6,250 tag March 27 in her first following a claim by Tim Padilla. She was only just under three lengths in back of 'Rattlesnakerose' Feb. 8 and is capable of factoring here in her present form.
