Top pick: #6 (ROCKEYSHOMERUN) (5-2) - Colt ships back from Gulfstream where he set a fast and contested pace before tiring to finish fourth on Jan. 1 in the $150K "Spectacular Bid" stakes. He was an easy winner here at this level and distance in his previous start and is the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #4 (Anillo) (5-1) - Also comes in from Gulfstream where he rated, bid, and weakened in a grass sprint at this level on Dec. 20. Race was his first facing winners and first in almost 2 1/2 months. He's worked fast since and moves back to the dirt this afternoon.
3rd pick: #3 (Rammer) (9-5) - He was a gate to wire maiden winner here Dec. 19 when racing on the dirt and the "hot" barn of Chad Stewart will move him to the turf for her first against winners. Improving, speedy, and a threat.
5th pick: #2 (Yes Sir Yes Sir) (6-1) - He's working nicely for his first start since breaking his maiden at Northlands Park in western Canada on Oct. 13. May need a start, but this well-bred colt may be worth following.
