Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #3 (VINO ROSSO) (3-1) - Blinkers go on this Pletcher trained colt to get him nearer the pace this afternoon. He tracked today's rival 'Flameaway' last out but came up short by just over a length from getting by that colt. He breaks two off the rail and that should lead to a ground saving tip. Son of 'Curlin' gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #8 (World of Trouble) (4-1) - Very fast from the gate he's trying a two-turn distance for the first time. He won the 7 furlong $125,000 local Pasco Stakes by almost 14 lengths Jan. 20 and trainer Jay Servis has Irad Ortiz Jr aboard for the first time. Dangerous today.
3rd pick: #9 (Untamed Domain) (9-2) - Colt has gone 6-2-1-2 racing exclusively on the grass and is on the dirt for the first time. Stretch runner is in shape and Jose Ortiz is in from Gulfstream for the mount.
4th pick: #5 (Flameaway) (3-1) - He was a very gutsy gate-to-wire winner here in the traditional prep for this Derby when he won the Sam B. Davis Stakes at this distance Feb. 10. It earned him a career best figure and has been training fine since. Must be left in the mix.
