Top pick: #7 (ZAGORA) - Quality mare was a Group 3 winner overseas in her native France and last July at Saratoga she became a Grade 1 winner in this country when she was victorious in the prestigious Diana S. 5-year-old missed by a neck here in this stakes a year ago, but tuned up for this in an impressive win here 5 weeks ago in a the G3 Endeavor S. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #10 (Snow Top Mountain) - Grey mare comes here from Gulfstream razor sharp after a come-from-behind win in the (G3) Suwanee River S. on Feb. 11. 5-year-old always comes to run and in her only previous appearance here she finished second in a stakes.
3rd pick: #8 (Federation) - One of a pair entered by trainer Chris Clement and the two fillies will race uncoupled. English-bred was a very ordinary runner in her native country, but has really improved since coming to North America and joining the barn of Chris Clement. Filly has won both local starts with ease facing weaker and takes a huge step up in class today.
4th pick: #6 (Unbridled Humor) - She's the main speed of this field and if someone else wants the top, grey mare is capable of stalking. Seems a step below some of the others entered, but her ability to stay close on this speed favoring course negates that a bit.
