Top pick: #7 (WHISKEY WEATHER) (9-2) - Canadian invader chased and tired on the Woodbine synthetic surface when debuting on Dec. 2. She was bet down to favoritism, but had the misfortune of drawing the rail in a large field (12), a tough post for a horse making her first start. Filly has a new trainer (Dennis Ward 23% with new arivals) and she moves off the rail and will race on conventional dirt.

2nd pick: #1 (Wide Eyed Wonder) (7-2) - Filly by the fleet "Tiz Wonderful" has been working very fast since late Nov. and her trainer Jane Cibelli is off to a great start at this long meet. 3-year-old draws the rail, has Serpa aboard, and is a win candidate.

3rd pick: #3 (Natural Rush) (4-1) - Gulfstream shipper will be going turf to dirt and cutting back in distance for "Hall of famer" Bill Mott. Daughter of "Indian Charlie" cost a whopping $77,5000 but hasn't shown much in both starts going a mile.

5th pick: #6 (K O's Touch) (3-1) - She set a pressured pace and held gamely to finish second here when debuting here at this level on Jan. 11. Solid effort, but this field looks much tougher so she'll need to improve. Not out of the question.
