Top pick: #1 (WILDCAT PRINCE) - Colt ran a strong race in his debut here 11 days ago as he stalked, bid, and came up a "neck" short. Trainer Manny Criollo brings him back quickly and three-year-old draws the rail. The horse to beat if he doesn't bounce.
2nd pick: #8 (Justa Average Joe) - Well-backed in his debut at Hawthorne in early Dec. He'll drop in price and has a fine work here Dec. 28. He's in the hottest barn on the grounds (Jamie Ness) and is a strong factor today.
3rd pick: #3 (Indian Empire) - Runs today off a half year's break and with a trainer switch to Clyde Rice. Colt has had some type of problem in all three of his starts and was backed heavily at the windows in each. This may me the day he shows some talent.
