Top pick: #8 (NORTHERN DUKE) - Claimed last fall by Wayne Marcoux for $5K veteran was "stopped on" at that point and did not return until June 21. He chased and tired slightly in that come-backer and Marcoux brings him back quickly for this (16 days). I like his chances.
2nd pick: #7 (Jazz Nation) - He's won both local starts since shipping from Gulfstream and has four of his last six overall. Speedster draws well in the gate and he'll be tough to beat, though the price will be short.
3rd pick: #2 (Dude Again) - Veteran was re-claimed by John Rigatteri in early April and given a 7 week freshening. Gelding has returned in fine shape and will be shortening-up in diatance this afternoon. Late threat.
