(# 1) LAWYER RON - He will be near impossible to beat with anything near a repeat of his last race. Awesome display of speed and talent from a poor post, and today he draws the best slot. Have liked him since the spring of 06, and Pletcher seems to have found out what "makes him tick". Working well since, he is the horse to beat.

(# 2) Diamond Stripes - Good race in the Whitney from a wide draw. He's lightly raced, is still improving and from this cozy slot, he should save ground and make a run past the half.

(# 6) Wanderin Boy - Big race in the Whitney, setting all the pace, and staying on well to finish second. That was only his third start of this season, so he's basically a fresh horse. Working swiftly since the Whitney, and will run big again.

(# 4) SUN KING - If youre willing to toss the troubled trip in the Whitney, you can build a case for him nearing a peak effort. Two tries this year at Belmont were fine, and he may surprise a lot of people with a very strong race today.
