(# 8) LUCK - Well-backed in all three starts. Last on the turf should have done wonders for her stamina, and prepare her for this seven-furlong try. Only dirt race to date was at this distance at Belmont, and filly finished fourth. Drops into a claimer for the first time and draws a good post.

(# 6) Pizza - Also drops into a claimer for initial time and trainer Scott Everett adds blinkers to her equipment. Daughter of Buddha has been away over three months, but has a pair of good works on a pretty sparse work tab.

(# 5) County Leitrim - Poor getaways in only two appearances which came last season when two-years-old. Two of the last three works are more than adequate and Weaver barn is good with this type of layoff runner (22%).

(# 9) Astoria Sweetheart - Very poor effort first over this surface at 5.5 furlongs. Stretches out to seven panels today and previous try at Belmont at six furlongs was very good, just missing to a 2-5 shot.
