Top pick: #2 (POINT OF ENTRY) - Phipp's home-bred by "Dynaformer" has improved a "ton" since late December and became a G1 winner when he was a convincing winner on the Man O War stakes at Belomt Park July 14th. That win made him four for his last five, and included a win at Keeneland in late April in the G2 Elkhorn. Training fast locally and he's a perfect 2-for-2 at this 12 furlong distance.
2nd pick: #9 (Turbo Compressor) - He's won a pair of $500K stakes in his last pair, going wire-to-wire in the Colonial Turf Cup on June 16th, then again leading every step three weeks later in the (G1) United Nations at Monmouth. Working fast since, he faces little other pace, and is a win candidate on the front-end.
3rd pick: #3 (Tahoe Lake) - He's finished second twice and third once when running against "Entry" and he has a solid record at this tough trip (3-0-2-1). He comes off a second-place run here on August 3rd in the $100K John's Call stakes and has enough speed to stay close through-out.
