Top pick: #3 (ZAGORA) - Wonderful mare always brings her best and French-bred became a G1 winner in this country when she won the 2011 edition of this stakes almost a year ago. She's won 3-of-4 starts in 2012, all stakes and last out she rallied to win the (G3) Gallorette at Pimlico on the Preakness under card. This has been her goal for some time and trainer Chad Brown has her ready to repeat.
2nd pick: #1 (Tapitsfly) - Much improved grey mare is (5-2-1-2) this year (all stakes) and last out went wire-to-wire at Belmont in the Just a Game stakes June 9th to become a G1 winner. She easily held off two of today's rivals, "Winter Memories" and "Hungry Island" and her inside post and early speed make her a win candidate right back.
3rd pick: #5 (Winter Memories) - As mentioned above she was no threat to "Tapitsfly" last out at Belmont, but has a serious shot at today's longer distance. Quality home-bred by "El Prado" is 2-for-3 on this course and has been working very fast since her last appearance.
