Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #7 (MO READY) (5-1) - This Repole Stable homebred by 'Uncle Mo' has been on the sidelines since early December following a pair of decent efforts facing 'open' company. He broke his maiden here facing fellow New York-breds at this distance in his grass debut Aug. 16, and he has been in steady training here since mid-June. He returns a NEW gelding for Todd Pletcher, who has won with 30 of 102 (30%) off of long layoffs since Jan. 1 of 2019. He'll be tough if ready.

2nd pick: #4 (Barleewon) (3-1) - Rapidly improving colt was an easy maiden winner going a mile at Belmont Park June 26. Stalker was racing second back from a pair of layoffs, has worked twice since at the Fair Hill Center, and John Velazquez stays aboard. A strong win candidate.

3rd pick: #12 (Stanhope) (9-2) - He looks similar to 'Mo Ready' as he's been idle since Nov. 2 when he broke his maiden at this distance at Aqueduct. Well-bred, this colt is working steadily and runs off a private trainer change to Brad Cox, 32 of 136 (24%) with new arrivals to his barn in 2019-20. This son of 'Street Sense' is dangerous if able to work out a favorable trip from a very tough outside post.

4th pick: #2 (Albie) (20-1) - One of four older runners entered, he's racing third back following almost a 7.5-month layoff and moves back in with fellow state-breds for this one. Stakes placed here last year, he enters off a fast half-mile breeze July 15, has a good post, and may factor at a very big price.
