Top pick: #4 (HONOR THE KITTEN) (5-2) - The probable favorite, he ships in from Churchill where he raced seven-wide after breaking from a tough outside post in an entry-level allowance. Ramsey home-bred draws a better slot, drops in class, stretches out in distance, and has J.J.Castellano aboard.
nd pick: #3 (Belly of the Whale) (2-1) - Lightly raced home-bred has been freshened up since finishing a close up fourth in an entry-level allowance at Belmont Park on May 16. Working nicely, and he's another taking a class drop. Win candidate.
rd pick: #1 (Branded Hand) (6-1) - Seems that he's been his own worst enemy in several of his starts as he constantly gets in tight spots. Fits with his best, draws the rail, and he's yet another taking a class drop. His latest work was excellent, and this son of "Hard Spun" has a shot with a "clean" break & trip.
th pick: #9 (Handsome Dennis) (6-1) - He's been sharp in both starts at Belmont after spending the first ten starts of his career on the So. California circuit. In shape, and although winless on the grass (5-0-2-1), is a threat this afternoon.
th pick: #10 (H Town Brown) (10-1) - Gelding by "Big Brown" has run well in both turf starts, and broke his maiden on the Arlington lawn on May 26. Freshened up since and this 3yo has dangerous early speed.
