Top pick: #2 (ELRAAZY) (7-2) - Beautifully bred filly has been sharp in both starts. She won her debut at Belmont June 4, then missed by a 'nose' there a month later at this level. Working fine and can take this wide open contest with a trouble free trip.
2nd pick: #4 (Top Decile) (3-1) - Lightly raced filly is working extremely fast for her first start since Jan 17. She had a poor star and a wide trip that day and may have been injured. Much sharper in her first three starts, she finished 2nd in a pair of G1's late in 2014. Strong finisher missed by a 1/2 length in the Breeder's Cup Juvenile Fillies at Santa Anita last Nov 1. Win threat if ready.
3rd pick: #10 (Mayla) (12-1) - Long shot had a sharp race over the track here July 25. Racing from a tough outside post going 6-furlongs, she raced very wide through-out before rallying to be beaten just under a length. She draws outside again, but that's a plus today at this 7-furlong distance. Win candidate.
4th pick: #6 (Titanium) (15-1) - Much improved of late, filly has won two in a row out of town and is working fast for her first since late June. Fits on 'figures' and she'll be a big price.
5th pick: #9 (Kirov) (5-1) - Un-raced since early November, she races off a private trainer change to Chad Brown (30% with new arrivals). $325K daughter of 'Distorted Humor' is working fast but draws a tough group in her return. Needs to be at her very best off the 9 1/2 month layoff.
