2nd pick: #5 (Thabazimbi) - Lightly-raced colt by "Empire Maker" finish a pace-chasing seventh, beaten less than three lengths in a stakes at Arlington last out. In the Mott barn and trainer is having a very good meet. Win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Lease Of Life) - Lightly-raced son of the legendary "Cozzene" has some ability and is working well for "Hall of Famer" Bob Frankel for colts first race since June 4. Contender.
4th pick: #6 (Lemon Cream Pie) - Sharp wire-to-wire win at Belmont July 18 in his first start since last fall and first for trainer Jimmy Jerkens. Training nicely since, and gelding is yet another contender.
