It was her first back from a seven week freshening and she can win this with a slight move forward.
2nd pick: #2 (Andretta) (5-2) - Home bred daughter of 'Freud' rallied to finish second at this level when debuting on the Belmont grass going six furlongs June 9. Working steadily on the local training track grass course, she's an obvious threat with a repeat of her initial effort.
3rd pick: #5 (Amber Dancer) (8-1) - Blinkers go on 4-year-old who finished three lengths in back of 'Lulu's Pom Pom' at Belmont July 4. It was her first start since last November and she should be sharper with that come-backer out of the way.
4th pick: #8 (New Canaan) (5-1) - Debuting filly worked a bullet half-mile on the training track turf course July 6. However, there are no published drills since and hat's a negative. On the positive side, trainer Linda Rice is having a strong meet and she wins at a 20% rate first out. Mixed signals.
