Top pick: #1 (RADIOHEAD) - He's been facing much tougher fields than this and trainer Rick Dutrow has him spotted nicely in this allowance/optional claimer. Lates at Belmont saw him finish a close-up fourth in a small stakes on the grass at this 7 furlong distane and Dutrow will drop him in class and move him back to the dirt. The horse to beat.
2nd pick: #6 (Phillipe) - Scratched earlier in the meet to await this spot, he's a solid sprinter and is in with a good veteran trainer (Jim Baker). Earlier this year this son of "Mineshaft" finished second in a pair of stakes, one at Turfway and the other at Oaklawn. This colt should be involved from start to finish at a nice price. Contender.
3rd pick: #8 (The Program) - He had a bright future early in 2010 but after a "troubled" trip in the Louisiana Derby (G2) at the Fair Grounds he did not race again for 13 1/2 months. Racing back into shape and trainer Ron Werner (who won a race here early in the meet)has him spotted where he can compete for the win.
