A winner of each, she's had to overcome less than perfect trips and enters off a sharp score here facing a solid field of 'open' claimers. Five-year-old has breezed twice since and gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #7 (Fifty Five) (2-1) - The morning line and probable favorite, multiple stakes winner has been sharp in all three starts since coming off just under a 6-month layoff April 14. From the barn of Chad Brown. Four-year-old is s strong win candidate and I could have easily made her the top selection.
3rd pick: #3 (Feeling Bossy) (5-1) - Speed/stalker defeated 'Fifty Five' by a 'neck' n Belmont's $125K Mount Vernon Stakes going a mile May 28. It was her first stakes win and in her follow up there June 30 she raced evenly facing tougher 'open' company. Her early speed makes her a bit dangerous.
4th pick: #1 (Overnegotiate) (15-1) - Longshot hasn't raced since Dec. 30. Stalker is working steadily for trainer Todd Pletcher (31% off of long layoffs), has the rail, and is capable of getting a share at a big price if ready.
