A strong finisher, he's won three stakes in a row, the latest pair coming in G2 contests. He can sew up the divisional title with a win this afternoon.
2nd pick: #6 (Colonel Liam) (4-1) - One of two entered by Todd Pletcher, the pair race uncoupled. This son of 'Liam's Map' sold for $1,200,000 as a 2yo in training in April of 2019. A visually impressive maiden winner here July 22, he earned a huge figure in what his first ever on the grass.
3rd pick: #4 (Domestic Spending) (5-1) - A lightly raced gelding from the Chad Brown barn, he rallied from far back after a poor break to finish 3rd, just over a length behind 'Decorated Invader' here in the Hall of Fame Stakes (G2) July 18. The English import moves off the rail and should like today's added distance.
4th pick: #3 (No Word) (12-1) - The second of the pair from the Pletcher barn, he was a winner going nine furlongs at Belmont July 9. Longshot has been working well and is a late threat at a big price.
