2nd pick: #1 (Lady on the Run) - Another who has been beautifully managed by the small but competent barn of John Morrison. Strong finisher ships back from Finger Lakes where she was a winner of a $50K stakes and did so at a distance (6 furlongs) that was not her best. In shape, the trip is fine, and she's a win candidate.
3rd pick: #6 (Beautiful But Blue) - She's won four of her last five, including a pair of stakes with her only loss coming when she tried the tirf for the first (and probably last time). She comes off a career best and it came at this distance June 24th at Belmont. Contender.
