Premium Pick

Top pick: #6 (TIGHTEND TOUCHDOWN) (3-1) - Since being re-claimed by Jay Servis in late January, gelding has gone 5-3-2-0, and is 3-2-1-0 on the grass since then. Speed/stalker is in career best shape and can stalk what should be a fast and/or contested pace.

2nd pick: #4 (Varsity) (6-1) - He's the fastest of several front-end types, and is a professional at grass sprinting (12-6-3-0). Stakes winner goes second back from a 70 day freshening after an even effort in a $1M sprint run in the U.A.E. this past March.

3rd pick: #8 (Longhunter) (4-1) - Claimed for $16K by Mike Maker on April 6th, English-bred has won three in a row since then, and all have come at Belmont going six furlongs on the grass. He draws a nice post for his stalking style and must be left in the mix.

4th pick: #10 (Doctor Chit) (6-1) - Very lightly raced son of "War Front" has shown plenty of talent on the dirt, and could factor at a square price if he can bring that form to the infield.

5th pick: #7 (Next Question) (12-1) - Longshot has plenty of speed, and became a G1 winner last Oct. at Woodbine. Lightly raced gelding moves back to the turf after a pair of switched contests, is working fast, and has his blinkers back on after a two race absence.
