Top pick: #9 (MARAM) - Lightly raced and talented, she's stringing starts together after having some lengthy layoffs earlier in her career. She ran a big race last out in he G1 "Diana" and has a nice drill since. Post hurts a bit, but believe that she can overcome it.
2nd pick: #1 (Miss Keller) - One of a pair from Canadian-based trainer Roger Attfield and they'll race uncoupled. Irish-bred uncorked a strong stretch rally last out on this surface to win the "DeLaRose" stakes and this filly is a much improved runner over last season. Win threat from off the pace.
3rd pick: #3 (Phola) - I thought she received a poor ride in the Diana as she has a lot more positional speed than she showed that day. In top form prior to that poor effort, think she'll rebound this afternoon.
4th pick: #7 (Dynaslew) - Likes the course (4-1-2-0) and this lightly-raced daughter of "Dynaformer" has stepped-up her game since a trainer switch to Seth Benzel. Has a flexible style and is clearly a contender.
