Filly had some traffic issues right at the break and ran strongly despite that issue. She's worked fast since and is stringing starts together after returning from a year's layoff May 14.
2nd pick: #7 (Angie's Prim Lady) (8-1) - Mare threw her head at the break last out in the same race as 'Goodbye Sorrow.' One-run type was forced into a very wide trip while weakening late to check in eight lengths behind that rival. Veteran can factor at a square price with an alert beginning.
3rd pick: #9 (Simple Love) (9-2) - Un-raced since July 14, mare is racing first off a Gary Contessa claim. This 5-year-old has spent her entire career on the grass and has gone 20-6-4-1. Stalker is more suited to a bit longer distance but is a threat turning for home.
4th pick: #10 (Gagaoveryou) (10-1) - She makes her NYRA debut, but over the past year has been competitive in Canada, Florida, Kentucky, and most recently Illinois. Stalker fits with these and has an outstanding record at this distance 8-3-1-3. Must be left in the mix.
