Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (MY SASSY SARAH) (5-2) - A lightly raced homebred, she rallied to finish 3rd at this level going six furlongs at Belmont June 20 in her first race in seven months. She's finished behind today's rival 'Light in the Sky' the two times they've met, but she has better tactical speed in this shorter contest. I give her a very small edge.
2nd pick: #5 (Light in the Sky) (7-5) - The morning line and probable favorite, she missed by a 'neck' June 20 at Belmont and was a bit more than two lengths ahead of 'My Sassy Sarah' that afternoon. It was her first start since Oct. 14, and she's the only filly entered with a local win. An obvious win candidate at a short price, I could have easily made her the top selection.
3rd pick: #2 (Saratoga Love) (7-2) - This speedy filly is facing winners after a gate-to-wire maiden win at Belmont going six furlongs June 25. By far a career-best, the rail is hers for the taking at the break and she must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #3 (Winifred J) (20-1) - This veteran showed little last out, but has finished in the money in both previous local starts and may get a minor award at a very big price. It's a plus that Javier Castellano stays aboard this longshot.
