Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (STORM PROPHET) (3-1) - He missed by just under a length racing here at this condition going a mile Aug. 6. Four-year-old has been sharp in both starts since coming off a six month break and moving back to the grass July 16. The top pick, but make sure you reverse your exactas with him.
nd pick: #8 (Jupiter Rising) (7-2) - Lightly-raced and improving, Schwartz home bred races off a private trainer change to Todd Pletcher (22% with new arrivals). Freshened up since July 16, he finished a troubled fourth that day racing at this level at Belmont Park. Win candidate.
rd pick: #3 (Jo's Bold Cat) (6-1) - He missed by a 'neck' here at this distance facing $40,000 'open' claimers Aug. 6. In his previous race at Belmont July 16, he was 2 1/2 lengths behind 'Storm Prophet' and finished on even terms with 'Jupiter Rising.' He broke poorly that day and stalker must be left in the mix.
th pick: #2 (Manifest Destiny) (10-1) - Speedy and lightly-raced, he was a 'neck' in front of 'Storm Prophet' here Aug. 6. Clearly a better horse when on the grass, he breaks just off the rail and should be involved throughout.
th pick: #5 (Nitzforboltz) (12-1) - Gelding broke poorly but ran evenly when beaten four lengths in the same race here as several others. It was his first start in three months and this gelding is capable of impacting at a big price.
