He was a bit 'hard to handle' last out, has worked twice since, and he gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #8 (Harris Bay) (3-1) - This colt has been bumped at the break in three straight attempts, but he has still managed to be sharp in his last pair. $170K purchase was less than a length in back of 'Gandy Dancing' in his first race in almost seven months and is a win candidate today.
3rd pick: #7 (Three Jokers) (4-1) - A $50K son of 'Twirling Candy,' he missed by a 'head' here at this level in a contest that was taken 'off the turf' Aug. 5. He has speed/stalking ability, fits on figures, and is still improving. In the mix.
4th pick: #6 (Flying Finish) (10-1) - He ships back from Delaware Park where he tired badly going a mile facing 'open' company at the first-level allowance condition. A maiden winner at Belmont June 27 when in with fellow state-breds, he may impact here at a big price.
