3rd pick: #7 (Irish Nuggets) (6-1) - Very fast from the gate, Midwest invader has won four of seven overall and her last two in a row. Lightly-raced 3-year-old is capable of running sub :45 half-miles and it's noted that Irad Ortiz Jr. is aboard for her NYRA debut.
4th pick: #1a (Air of Distinction) (8-1) - Stalker ships from Monmouth where she raced evenly sprinting in a turf stakes there Aug 15. She had finished second in her previous dirt sprint and is a factor from close range.
