Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #4 (ADARA BELLE) (7-2) - NOTE: This race has been taken 'off the turf' and switched to the main track at the same 5.5 furlong distance. This French bred filly was entered for the dirt only and trainer Rob Atras gets his wish. She was an easy wire-to-wire winner here at this distance on a sloppy track July 17 for a $30K tag and is moving up in price to run for a $50,000 claiming price. 3yo worked fast Aug. 9 and she gets top billing.
2nd pick: #8 (Morisette) (4-1) - A lightly raced daughter of 'Munnings', she stays in this switched contest and is dropping down in class. She broke her maiden on a sloppy surface at the Fair Grounds at this distance in an 'off the turf' race Feb. 18 and trainer Joe Sharp has Joel Rosario aboard for this attempt.
3rd pick: #9 (No Blame) (6-1) - A rare West Virginia bred, she's won six of 10 dirt sprints, including three stakes at Charles Town facing fellow state breds. Working fast for her first since May 18, she's from the same barn (Joe Sharp) as 'Morisette' and Luis Saez chose this filly over that rival. A win candidate.
