2nd pick: #2 (Thorny Tale) (3-1) - A consistent sort from the barn of George Weaver, he's returned from a 9.5-month layoff with a pair of sharp efforts. He finished a wide 4th here at this level and distance July 16, has worked fast since, and he breaks from the rail. He should be involved every step.
3rd pick: #5 (Leaky Cup) (9-2) - A very consistent 4yo, he's gone 14-4-2-4 on the dirt and is 10-4-2-2 at this distance. He enters off of four straight solid efforts at this level and was a bit over a length in front of a wide 'Thorny Tale' here July 16. In the mix.
