Top pick: #6 (UNACCOUNTABLE) - Wonderful veteran has been nicely managed by trainer Chad Brown the past 19 months going (8-5-1-1) and that includes a win on this surface last year. Comes into this three for three this year and working well locally since a win at Belmont on June 2. This is a tough spot, but think he'll prevail with a "clean" trip.
2nd pick: #7 (Screenplay) - He has a fine year on view (6-4-1-0) and has won at 4 different tracks, Gulfstream, keeneland, Churchill, and Philly Park. Has good positional speed, the level and distance are fine, and is a win candidate.
3rd pick: #8 (Gantry) - Lightly raced, speedy, talented, and he'll be trying a two-turn distance for the first time. Gelding raced evenly last out despite some difficulties in the G3 Jaipur at Belmont and has a bullet drill here August 4. His speed makes him very dangerous.
4th pick: #1 (Break Up the Game) - Lightly-raced runner from the Phipp's Stable rallied from far back to win by a head on the Belmont infield going 7/8ths July 4 and did so despite a very wide trip. Race was his first on the grass and son of "Bernardini" has a solid maintenance drill on August 5. Stretch threat.
