2nd pick: #5 (My Man Flintstone) (2-1) - He ships in from Keeneland where he finished a pace-pressing 2nd going six furlongs for a $50K tag at the 2l condition July 10. A son of 'Into Mischief,' he's stakes-placed, appears to be the main speed, and is a strong win candidate.
3rd pick: #3 (Fed Funds) (6-1) - This grey gelding by 'Lemon Drop Kid' rallied strongly to break his maiden at this distance July 2 at Belmont for a $30K tag. Only his second start, the 3yo worked here July 23, and he should and a fast and/or contested pace would make him a late threat.
4th pick: #2 (Starship Bubba) (12-1) - A NEW gelding, he tired going a mile on the Belmont grass for a $40K tag June 12. Competitive in two of three starts sprinting on the dirt, he's cutting back in distance for this, and Joel Rosario gets aboard for this attempt.
