Top pick: #2 (ATREA) - Daughter of "Storm Cat" finished fourth in her debut on July 1 at Belmont after chasing very fast fractions and weakening a bit in the last furlong. Should improve enough in her second start to win this.
2nd pick: #6 (Kinsey) - She chased and tired in her debut on June 27 at Churchill Downs. Barn (Steve Asmussen) annually does good things here and filly has attracted Edgar Prado. Trainer/jockey team has won with eight of there last 17 when teamed-up.
3rd pick: #13 (The Underling) - She needs a scratch in the main body to compete, but if allowed to run she could factor here. Filly finished second in her debut to a runner ("Beautician") who finished second in the feature here yesterday.
4th pick: #1 (Salaam Alaykum) - Debuting daughter of "Saint Liam" is working sharply and draws the rail. Last year's leading trainer (Kiaran McLaughlin), and leading rider (Alan Garcia) are in her corner and the works are excellent. Can factor here.
