Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (SARATOGA GIRO) (4-1) - Sharp Finger Lakes shipper has gone 6-3-2-0 with his lone sub par effort coming of a 4.5 month layoff in his seasonal bow March 3. He missed by a length last out at his home track in a tough $50K stakes and has the best recent form of this group. Speed/stalker has the rail and gets a slight edge.
2nd pick: #8 (Bluegrass Prevails) (3-1) - Speedy 3-year-old has been freshened up since June 12. Competitive in all ten starts since debuting here a year ago and he's working above average for his return. Gelding draws a nice outside post and Jose Ortiz is back on the re-ride.
3rd pick: #6 (Here Comes Tommy) (10-1) - No-speed type should get a fast/and or contested pace to rally into and should be finishing fast. Veteran can grab a share at a square price, but the top two picks are more likely to win this.
4th pick: #5 (We Did) (8-1) - Lightly-raced, he's improved noticeably in his last pair. He's moving back in with fellow New York breds following a second-place finish July 8 at Belmont facing open company.
