Trainer Dale Romans moves her to the grass, stretches her out in distance, and has Dominguez aboard. Gets a slight edge in a "wide open" contest.
2nd pick: #6 (Despite Her Form) - Earlier this year at Gulfstream, daughter of "Speightstown" finished second in a pair of races originally scheduled fot the grass. Working fine locally for her first race since April 7th and is a contender on whatever surface this is run on.
3rd pick: #1 (Jayezaa) - Another who's raced in a pair of "switched" contests at Belmont and this filly by "Distorted Humor" has showed some early speed in each. Has the inside post and should factor if this remains on the turf.
4th pick: #8 (Bella Bandita) - Improving daughter of "Dynaformer" finished third at Churchill at this level and distance on June 9th. Races off of almost a seven week break and veteran trainer Jim Baker will add blinkers for the first time. Working fast, and she'll be a square price.
