Top pick: #8 (PAN DULCE) (3-1) - Lightly-raced favorite finished second when sprinting on the Belmont turf for this tag on June 22nd and was claimed by Mike Maker that afternoon. New barn wins at a 28% rate first off the claim and he'll be stretching her out in distance (23%). Daughter of "Candy Ride" had a bullet work at Belmont six days ago and is the top choice.

nd pick: #9 (It's Your Dime) (6-1) - The main speed, she set a fast pace before tiring late to finish three lengths back of "Dulce" on June 22nd at Belmont. Race was her first in seven months and should have her razor sharp for this stretch-out attempt. Trainer Linda Rice is solid with this move (21%).

rd pick: #5 (Coralita) (9-2) - She's been on the sidelines since May 19th and returns today off of some fine works for a new trainer (Tony Dutrow) 24% with new arrivals. Filly should show whatever she has in this spot.

th pick: #4 (Brickhouse Baby) (5-1) - New York-bred enters off a career best when she finished second at this level at Belmont June 30th. It's noted that on May 19th in an "off the turf" contest she was only a "head" back of "Coralita."

th pick: #6 (J Rose Gal) (6-1) - Improving sort slso runs off a career best effort when she was beaten a neck for the place by "Baby" at Belmont June 30th. It was her second back from a seven month layoff and 3-year-old must be left in the mix.
