3rd pick: #2 (Towering Gaze) (4-1) - Competitive in both starts, she was just under a length in back of 'Snicket' when debuting at Belmont June 4. In her follow up three weeks later, she tired late to miss by 4.5 lengths while going seven furlongs. She received good betting support in each attempt and should be involved from gate-to-wire today.
4th pick: #9 (Cake) (8-1) - A $100K purchase, she had a very wide trip when beaten by just under five lengths debuting at Belmont June 4. She's breezed here three times this month, and trainer Steve Asmussen has won with 53 of 242 (22%) second time out in 2019-20.
