Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #1 (CALL PROVISION) (5-2) - He's one of two entered by trainer Chad Brown and the pair race uncoupled. Very consistent Five-year-old has gone 16-6-4-1, all on the turf and is a specialist at this distance 7-3-3-0. Gelding miss by a 'neck' at this level and distance June 24 at Belmont and gets top billing.
2nd pick: #4 (Hello Don Julio) (5-1) - The main speed, he set a solid pace before weakening late to finish 2.5 lengths behind 'Call Provision' June 24 at Belmont. It was his second back from an 8-month layoff and he's dangerous if left alone on the lead in the first part of this 1 3/8ths contest.
3rd pick: #7 (Silverwave) (5-1) - French import is the second of the pair from trainer Chad Brown. Veteran was kept the best of company in his native land and was a Group 2 winner and Group 1 placed. He's yet to show that talent in three starts here, but is dangerous at a square price if he does.
4th pick: #2 (Patterson Cross) (6-1) - Five-year-old moves up in class after rallying to win by a 'neck' facing weaker going 10 furlongs at Belmont July 4. It's nice to see him stringing starts together following an 11-month layoff and he broke his maiden on this course in late August of 2016. Believe his best days are still in his future.
