Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #10 (APPEALING BRIEFS) (3-1) - Strong finisher has missed by a 1/2 length in two straight at this level. He shortens up a bit, has a tough post, but gets a slight edge despite those pair of negatives. The top choice, but make sure you reverse your bets with him.
nd pick: #8 (Charge Latouche) (8-1) - Longshot raced both wide and evenly when beaten four lengths in a Belmont grass sprint at this level June 8. Race was his first in almost two years and he's been working fast since. Home bred is racing beyond 6 furlongs for the first tome and it's of note that Javier Castellano is aboard.
rd pick: #12 (Sumer Mischief) (7-2) - Only a 1/2 length in back of 'Appealing Briefs' last out, colt had a comfortable trip from his inside post. He's moving to the far outside and must avoid a wide trip. A major contender if that's the case.
th pick: #9 (Gosilently) (6-1) - Speedy gelding ships in from Indian Downs where he's been sharp in two straight facing 'open' special weight company. Lightly-raced and improving, he must be left in the mix.
th pick: #6 (Catch a Cab) (8-1) - NEW gelding hasn't raced since finishing 4th here in a dirt sprint at this level one year ago. Working fast at Belmont, it's noted that this $100,000 purchase received serious betting support in his first pair here last summer.
