Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #5 (HAMPTONS HOLIDAY) (7-2) - I liked him when he debuted here going 5.5 furlongs July 28. He took some time to settle, but rallied nicely to finish 3rd, beaten only 1.5 lengths. He's worked three times since and should love this seven-furlong distance.
nd pick: #6 (Catch a Cab) (3-1) - Colt raced both wide and evenly when finishing 4th in his debut here July 29 sprinting on the grass. Working fast since, trainer Mark Casse switches him to the turf, and sends him longer.
rd pick: #9 (Cespedes) (8-1) - From the same barn (Rudy Rodriguez) as 'Hamptons Holiday,' colt is working steadily for a 20% first out trainer. When riding for Rodriguez, jockey Javier Castellano wins at a 27% clip.
th pick: #1 (Clutch Cargo) (4-1) - Home bred son of 'Tapit' is working above average, and trainer Mike Hushion has won with two other debuting horses for owners Chester and Mary Broman at this meet. Dangerous if ready.
th pick: #10 (Pat On the Back) (9-2) - Colt raced evenly going shorter when debuting here Aug. 8th. He's worked since and longshot may grab a share with normal second out improvement.
