2nd pick: #7 (Love That Jazz) (15-1) - Longshot is training above average for his first since July 8. No speed type should receive a fast/and or contested pace to close into and may factor at a very big price.
3rd pick: #3 (Sal the Turtle) (2-1) - The morning line and probable favorite, he moves way up in class following a 4.5 length wire-to-wire win here facing 'open' $12,500 claimers July 30. Lightly raced 4yo had some promise during the first part of 2017, but had to be sent in for an 11 month layoff at that time. Must be left in the mix.
4th pick: #1 (Summer Bourbon) (4-1) - Even paced type finished 3rd here July 25 but was 5.5 lengths behind 'Riff Raff'. He's worked fast since, has blinkers on, and draws the rail. 5yo looks set for a big effort.
