Top pick: #5 (TURAATH) - Well-bred and lightly-raced colt finished a pace-chasing fourth here at this level and distance on August 1. Race was his best since coming back from a seven-month layoff and a repeat of it can win this.
2nd pick: #2 (Dreamed Day) - The main speed and he draws the most favorable post. Much better on conventional dirt than "poly" and his trainer (Paulo Lobo) is much better than his '09 record. Has a big work on August 16 and Garcia stays put. Very dangerous.
3rd pick: #4 (Sheila's Magic) - Lightly-raced gelding by "Harlan's Holiday" has run well in both career starts and is in a very good barn (Mike Trombetta) that's winless at the meet. Dominguez's presence is duly noted.
