Top pick: #7 (PICO DINERO) - Gelding ran a hugh race here July 26th as he raced very wide after breaking from a tough post and plugged on to be beaten a "neck". Race was at this level and distance and he's had a maintenance work since. Much the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #9 (Avenging) - Has good early speed and last out was still clear halfway through the far turn when he "bore out" badly costing him any chance at the win. Fits and is a threat to the top selection.
3rd pick: #5 (Naughty You) - Son of "Harlan's Holiday" has been freshened-up since a sub-par effort at Belmont June 12th. His previous pair were sharp and he's working nicely for a capable barn (Phil Serpe).
4th pick: #3 (King Prada) - He'll try a two-turn contest againg after a quartet of fine sprint efforts. Fits and he should be in the mix at the finish.
