2nd pick: #3 (Albie) (10-1) - Longshot tired late after setting a quick and pressured pace in the same last race as 'Mo Ready.' He gets a huge rider upgrade to Joel Rosario, draws well, and should be in this every step at a big price.
3rd pick: #1 (Bourbon Bay) (6-1) - An even-paced type, this stakes-placed colt is racing on the turf for the first time. A $205,000 yearling purchase here back in Aug. of 2018, he has a ground-saving post, is bred to handle the surface change, and can impact if he enjoys the switch.
4th pick: #4 (Our Troubadour) (20-1) - Longshot stretches out in distance after rallying to check-in 5th of nine, missing by 2.5 lengths when sprinting here facing 'open' $50K starter-allowance foes July 25. Much improved of late, the figure earned in his latest fits nicely with this group and he may factor at a very big price.
