Top pick: #4 (TEEN PAULINE) (7-2) - Daughter of "Tapit" is lightly raced, speedy, and comes from the Pletcher barn. This will be her first race around two-turns, first on the grass, and third back from a long layoff. She's training very fast on the grass, and is the top pick.
2nd pick: #1 (Yes It's Pink) (3-1) - New York-bred has gone 7-3-2-1 on the turf, has a strong closing kick, and draws the ground saving inside post. Returning to form following a 5 1/2 month break, and she's a win candidate.
3rd pick: #5 (Samiam) (6-1) - Daughter of "Dynaformer" broke her maiden here on July 24th in a fine overall effort. Stalker has room for upside, and her trainer (George Weaver) is having an excellent meet.
4th pick: #7 (Dreaming of Cara) (15-1) - Longshot rallied to finish third here in the $100k "On the Bus" stakes July 19th, and was only four lengths back of multiple stakes winner "Hessonite." Good effort, and filly will be making back-to-back starts for the first time since last fall.
5th pick: #11 (Holiday's Jewel) (15-1) - Her record (3-2-1-0) on this course can't be easily dismissed, and her new trainer (Mitch Friedman) is three for 10 at the meet. Filly draws a tough outside post, but has enough positional speed to avoid a wide trip.
