2nd pick: #5 (Mr. Peterson) - Chased a fast pace in his well-bet debut at Belmont on June 15. Freshened up since, he drops into a claimer and gets the addition of blinkers, a move that trainer Bill Badgett has won with three of his last six such moves.
3rd pick: #6 (Shifty Guy) - Firster from Hall of Famer Allen Jerkens, has a sharp gate move on the July 4, at Belmont, followed up by some stamina building works.
