Bet this race at Diamond SportsTop pick: #6 (ELIADE) (7-2) - This French import had a wide trip before making up some ground to finish 6th of eight, beaten by 4.5 lengths while going nine furlongs at this level June 12 at Belmont. It was a useful effort, her first in No. America, first for Chad Brown, and her first race in eight months. Training steadily since, she liked longer distances in Europe and should love today's 11-furlong trip.
2nd pick: #3 (Dyna Passer) (5-2) - A homebred by 'Lemon Drop Kid,' she's been competitive in all 10 starts since switching to the turf back in April of 2019. The stalker is stakes placed, likes this distance (3-1-0-2), and was beaten by a 'neck' here a year ago in her only previous local attempt. A win candidate.
3rd pick: #2 (Tizahra) (6-1) - This lightly raced 4yo ships from Kentucky where she's won two in a row. She broke her maiden going a mile at Churchill Downs June 11, then won a first-level allowance at Keeneland at the same distance July 9. Clearly improving, she faces tougher while stretching out in distance. In the mix.
4th pick: #4 (Hungry Kitten) (5-1) - A homebred daughter of 'Kitten's Joy,' she rallied to win a first-level allowance going 10 furlongs at Belmont July 9. No speed type earned a career-best figure in her third back following a 9.5-month layoff, and she has a fine series of works on view for this attempt.
