Top pick: #8 (SPLIT POT ) - Has the fields best last outing a strong 3rd place finish on "Opening Day" in a field that was considerably miuc tougher than this. Daughter of "El Corredor" should love the extra furlong she works with today and she looms the favorite and the horse to beat.
2nd pick: #2 (American Land) - Improving sort ran better than it appears last out from a wide post. She managed to get to the rail early to save ground and put in a good rally against the "bias" that day to finish 3rd. Filly should offer a square price in the exotics.
3rd pick: #7 (Grace's Valentine) - Brings good early speed to the contest and she's run strongly in her last three grass races. Beaten by a better horse last time and one that would easily win this.
